Weird things happening to address book

Strange things are happening to my contacts in Outlook Express 6. Just
recently, everytime that I reply to someone who's not in my contacts, it
automatically adds that person in the contacts... Why is it doing this and
is this spyware? By the way, I've checked for spyware with no results in
either Adaware or Spybot. Thanks in advance.

No spywear. There is an option to turn off that function. Suggest you look
around in options/preferences for ALL your programs and find out what is in
there.

To be specific, tools, options, send, uncheck "Automatically add people..."
