Weird print problem

Today my printing is coming out odd, when I print something from
ThePrintshop22, lines print like steps, in 1/2 inch increments, a lines width
up and down and the text is up and down also. When I printed from Word2003 it
looked like it is printing twice so it looked like a shadow.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer (HP932c) driver.
ThePrintShop printing is the same it was before. The Word printing now
prints every third and fifth line….unless there is a break like a
heading.....the line of text is split is half and displaced a bit (the top
part displace a bit to the left) and alternating damaged lines are
italicized, that is the top half is slanted to the left or right.......the
lines between are fine. Pictures in the page are effected too, ½ inch
sections are displaced one row of print to the left and right.

I noticed the distortion of pictures the day before while using PrintShop, I
had a notification of updates to install at shut down, when I went back
yesterday to check for updates while troubleshooting it installed a lot of
them...seems odd when supposedly it had just been done.

I can't even figure out how to begin to figure out what is going on
here....all I know is I have a lot of printing to do and I need it printed
properly....Help, Gwen.

I had posted this in the general section and just noticed a separate section
for printing problems

First thing to try is a System Restore to a couple of days ago or when you
know it printed correctly.

Tried it, actually went back a month to a time I know I did a lot of printing
and it was very good...... it made no difference. I contacted HP and went
through their "cleaning" instructions, tilting the printer to read the serial
numbers resulted I a lot of ink running out of the printer......not my day.

No improvement in the print.
