Weird bug in Outlook gets never corrected!

Hallo all!

Would anyone be able to explain why Microsoft never corrects some bugs
in its software?

Outlook makes me crazy, when I send a message through POP, and the
"Outbox" is opened the message gets sent, but Outlook gives an error
in the transmission and the message changes the status to "not ready
to send" (the small envelope is opened) and the message isn't
transferred to the "Sent Messages" box. It is annoying and
incomprehensible, why it never gets corrected, since it is known at
least since Outlook 97 (I know it).

Of course I try to avoid opening the "Outbox" when there are
unsent/ready to send messages, but some times you just forget...

So, any comments? Does it happens to you too?

Thanks,

Alexandre Heil França

It has never happened to me and I have used all versions of Outlook since
97, both with POP3 and Exchange.

I get a similar issue in OL2003 Beta
If you're in the Outbox (for whatever reason) mails get assigned to a date
of "none" and never sent :(

No need to get angry. It's not good to your health :) After
encountering so many ridiculous bugs in Microsoft's products, I realised
that if I get angry for every bug, my life would be shortened by 50
years and I would have been dead by now :D

You ask why Microsoft never corrects its bugs? Well, that's consistent
with its policy:
not to conform to standards;
create its own standard;
crush other standards to impose its own;
don't care the others.

Sooner or later, like many people I know of, I will persuade my boss to
change mail client. Even Mozilla/Netscape is better than Outlook.
Moreover, Netscape supports better internationalisation and
multi-language which becomes crucial to my company.

Cool :)
