Website won't load only for ME

I have been using this website "www.ihatedialysis.com/forum" since 2005,
since yesterday when I try to go to it, it says:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:

I emailed alot of other members and they are not having this problem and the
page is loading fine for them like always... so that tells me it's not the
website, but me.

Now, I have tried going to it here on my laptop, AND on my desktop.. same
message I posted up there I get on both computers.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

I have cleared my cookies, history, everything, rebooted, d/ls Netscape,
Firefox and tried them, still cannot get to the site. Any other website works
fine, as you can see I am here.

Thank you!

Also, I tried typing " ping www.ihatedialysis.com " at the command prompt
screen and it says

Ping request could not find host www.ihatedialysis.com. Please check the
name and try again.

So, dunno what all this means, but it's only happening to me, and none of
the other members.

When I type " ping 72.52.128.105 " it works, I get a reply and all of that,
and I was told that is the IP address for the server. (May not be, but they
said it was and how can that work and not the actualy http addy?)

Thanks.

Hi,
Assuming Windows XP...

First...
Try clearing the DNS Cache
Start> Run> cmd [enter]
(type in) ipconfig /flushdns
Then clear the Temporary Internet Files and restart.

Next...
Is a HOSTS file blocking cookies or other content?
To check the HOSTS file in Windows XP...
Make sure that Windows is showing hidden files and is
not hiding file extensions for known file types then check for a HOSTS file
at [C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc] Open the HOSTS file with notepad. If
there are entries you wish to disable, you can put the pound sign (#) in
front an entry to disable it. Then File> Save. Or you can rename the HOSTS
file to HOSTS.OLD to disable it.

Next...
Turn on the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall and
disable any third-party firewall, security suite, other security programs.
See if a third-party program is causing the problem.

Additional info on the HOSTS file at:
The Hosts File (Gorilla Design Studio): http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/
Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File:

Hope this helps,
