I have a site that always publishes all files which takes 30 minutes. Yes
it is set to publish "Changed Pages" Only. Something must be messed up
causing it not to realize this.. therefore publishes everything again.

Let me know if you have a solution.
Thanks.

Open the remote site and publish down to your local, then publish back to the remote, should put
both sites in sync.

Or

Do a complete publish or local to remote, then do a change page only publish right after.

I did something different.. it seems to have worked. I did this before
getting your response (up till 2:30 this morning doing this).

I deleted the subweb completely. Before re-uploading, I deleted all of the
Hidden files (_vti_cnf & _vti_pft). Then I had to reapply the Themes, which
was no big deal.

It seems to have worked, however, I'm not that familiar with the hidden
files/folder. Since this worked, I would appreciate any insight you may
have regarding this solution.

Thanks

In the future you should use FP to delete the subweb, not FTP. Not sure why you had to re-apply the
theme if you publish back from your local copy.

Thomas,
What is the story with the _vti_cnf & _vti_pft files. Can you give me any
insight as to their functions.

All I can say, is that they are part of the FP extensions. I have never been really interested
enough to learn what each of the folder functions are.

Good info. I wish it was detailed enough to know the consequences of
modifying this stuff.
Thanks again.

In general, if FP created the folder, especially hidden folder, then don't touch.

You're *not* supposed to modify those files. Leave 'em be.
