My question is how do I type a website address and afterwards, click on it
and transfer to the website?
At one time, I believed I could do this, but now when I try, it doesn't
work. I have a check mark beside the "Internet and Network Path and
hyperlinks", under Autocorrect Options, AutoFormat as you Type, but all that
does is put the address in brackets and adds the work Hyperlink????? I have
the same problem in Outlook Express when I develop a message and type a
website address. It does change color and underlines, but I can't link by
clicking on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alt+F9 to toggle the display. Then click on the URL (in Word 2002 or 2003,
you may need to Ctrl+click).

If I paste that URL into a document in Word 2003 and Ctrl+click on it, the
page opens.
