Webmail in outlook

Hi,

My school runs a exchange mail server, but strangely only provides
access via webmail. They told me that it cannot be configure in
outllok via the "exchange server" option. The techinician told me that
someone manage to configure the outlook access via "http email" (as
hotmail). I tried but to no good... anyone knows how to configure
this?
