Outlook won`t download certain e-mails from webmail

Hello all;

We are experiencing a problem with Outlook 2007.
In the webmail, all mail is displayed.
In Outlook, all mail is displayed, except ALL mail from February the 1st,
2010.

I looks like Outlook just skips them or something... Does anybody have any
clue about this problem?

Situation: exchange 2007 on small business server.
Exchange server sends the mail to outlook, and also to webmail.
Webmail and outlook are not related to eachother.

The problem happens to only one person, and the problem was created after he
worked from home one day (February the 1st).

I hope somebody is willing to help me, and maybe has a solution to this
problem.

Best regards;

Niels

By "webmail" do you mean Outlook Web Access or something else? Are you saying
that the messages exists in the Exchange mailbox but that Outlook cannot see
it? Are you using Cached Exchange mode in Outlook? If so, that happens if
you turn it off? What happens if you delete the OST while Outlook's closed
and let Outlook rebuild it when you start it again?

With webmail, I mean Outlook Web Access yes.

There are messages in Outlook Web Access that don`t appear in Microsoft
Outlook 2007.
It are the messages from February the 1st, the day the owner of that account
worked from his home, using webmail.

Every mail is displayed in Outlook Express from the past till today, except
the mail from that day, the 1st of February.

And yes, the messages exist in the Exchange mailbox, but Outlook can not see
the messages that came in on Feb. the 1st. Every e-mail from other days are
working fine.

I`ll try the solutions you gave and will post the results here.

Thank you very much for thinking with me for a solution!

Cache is turned off, still the same problem..

We also created a new profile.
When doing that, the OST should rebuild, right?

Thank you again for responding to my issue!

Why are you introducing Outlook Express into the conversation? Outlook
Express is POP/IMAP. Are you accessing the Exchange mailbox with Outlook
Express as well? How are you accessing the Exchange mailbox with Outlook
Express?
