Mail stuck in Outbox from Webmail

We have a strange issue between our Exchange 2003 server and Webmail.

We got a case that the user from is Outlook (not Webmail) sent a mail. The
user notice that the mail was not in is SentItems. We did a check by
connecting to is Webmail portal to discover that the e-mail was stuck in the
Outbox of is Webmail but not visible from is Outbox of Outlook 2003.

Anyone got this issue? Any clue?
