web pages are not displaying correctly

i have created dwt webpages which, when displayed on certain monitors
(especially laptops), stretch so that images do not fit their box. how can i
lock the frame sizes when i'm not using frames?

I have the same problem in HTML pages. My screen is 1024x768 but I'd like my
new site to be smaller. I also know very little about programming, please be
nice with your Greek programming talk!!
