To use dwt in website

I am starting to get familiar with using dwt in my website in FP2003. Here is
everything I did. I made a page template having a header frame and a body
frame. I inserted a table that devides the table into 3 cells, one for
content (link bars), one for footer, and one for the main area of the page.
In the header frame I inserted a header picture. In the content cell I pasted
link bars. I selected the main area cell and made it into an editable area
named "main" by clicking "format|dynamic web template|manage editable area. I
then saved the dwt file.

The problem came when I attempted to attach the dwt to a webpage. The error
message says" the dwt file cannot be attached because it does not have an
editable area"

What did I miss in the procedure?

Make sure your editable region is surrounding a html block element (say a <p> </p>) in the cell, not the cell
