web images distorted, blurred--help!

, Recently, only in the IE6 browser images are displayed as a pixel
composite. It is as if I have developed vision capable of seeing
the microparts of an image. If I back away from my computer,
8-10 feet, the image is viable.

jpegs, gifs on my computer are fine, clear, not impacted.
text on the webpages are fine. all images are distorted within their exterior image boundary.

Is there a fix for this?
I have continued to try to find a fix and found the blurry graphic
post. So I did up the dpi in the properties to 125%, also edited
the registry as no benefit was conclusive from increasing the dpi.
Turned on and off and then back on the function under
tools>internet options>advanced>enable automatic image
resizing. I still have fuzzy graphics containing pixals, blurry,
distorted within the exterior bounds of the image. none of the above efforts have been satisfactory.

I am in need of some advice.

Regards,

Valerie

Are you using one of those programs to speed up browsing over a dialup?
