Web Browser Goes into Not Responding Status

Just last week I received my brand new Dell Latitude 800 with Win XP Pro with
SP1a. After getting used to it I went to www.microsoft.com to install SP2.
Well, here's the strange thing - and it seems to be ONLY with microsoft.com.
When I go to microsoft.com, and only that site, the web browser almost
immediately goes into not responding status - each and everytime I go to that
site. I constantly have to kill the browser. I called up Dell. They suggested
I do a repair. I did that and still have the problem. This is extremely
frustrating. Any suggestions from anyone on how to proceed? Thanks in
advance. Alan KS.
