We had Access set up & now seem to have lost the information

We put into Access names addresses etc.. Now when you open it says Microsoft
Office Access can't find the shortcut database
 
Then don't use the shortcut, go find the actual file. Maybe someone moved
it?

Unless someone deleted the file, it should still be somewhere. Do you
know where the file was created or stored? I mean the YOURFILENAME.MDB file
not the shortcut to it? You might want to try searching the drive for any
file by that name. (Substitute your file's name of course.)
 
You could also do a search for *.mdb. This will find all the access files in
case you do not remember what it was named.
