Wave files in power point

Greetings,

I want to include music in presentation (wav file) which is about 50 MB of
size.

How to link it, so wav is not added to ppt file (which goes large in size
when I want to add 3 waves).

Generally i want small size of ppt + 3 wav files separate, in order to
quickly start presentation from CD.

Linking starts if your wave file is over 100 Ko.
So yours should natyrally only be linked and not embedded

Does it mean that if wav is over 100 kB it will be linked to ppt (it want be
embedded).

Because I can change it's setting from 100 kB (current value) to a different
value.

I imagine, that your powerpoint will load quite quickly - but I can't
imagine the 50mb sound (wav) loading quickly from a cd.

So how to make it run smoothly ?

Bare presentation is about 10 MB (about 60 jpgs). It will load quick.
But if I include 3 waves it will be 150 MB, and it takes few seconds to start.

As I know, it's not possible to add mp3 files. Or it is?

How to make that presentation stays with 10 MB and only links music which
will be in the same directory ?

Thanks.

You can add MP3 files, they will all be linked instead of embedded.

So, change the setting from 100 Ko to 50000 Ko (max). So your file will be
embedded.
I use CDEX to change the original wave file (let's say 50 Mo) to RIFF WAVE
(it's an MP3 that PPT recognize as a wav) then the weight is about 5 Mo!
