Wav Files

Somehow I have deleted the standard .wav files for my system, can anyone tell
me how to restore them, (system resotre did not resolve)

Use 3rd party recovery softwares. Google them.

Ive tried that, and stll cant get them do you know of a place to obtain the
windows theme sounds, ? or download as a file,

You may have an i386 folder on your computer. If not, on your XP CD.
Search for *.wa_ . Expand the ones you want back out, using this to get
you started:

Okay, what if my i386 does not have the correct wav files, and my computer
was pre loaded, so no cd was received,

Did you do a search for *.wa_ in the i386 folder? I have 128 of them in
mine.
