wav files

when I try to down load a wav file it will only onpen
like 2 of the 35 I click on and on the ones that don't
open it says the error number is -24144 ... what do I do

Are you downloading out of newsgroups? If so you need to download all the
"pieces" and then assemble them after downloading in order to play the wav.
