Someone asked a similar question not too long ago - this was the
recommendation they liked best:

Program: Clock
Author: Max2k (CCNA; MCP)
Ware: (Freeware)
http://www.max2k.com/

http://www.max2k.com/programs.php?id=6

# System: Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP
# Language: English (EN-US)
# Description: You have 2 options : analog or digital clock. Select this
option from the right click menu. You can set an alarm hour , play any
sound file(*.wav;*.mp3) and/or see a message window.

A couple of other possibilities:

Program: BigClock
Author: Brian Shepherd
Ware: (Freeware)

Program: Through Clock
Author: Hamataro (Jun Komoto)
Ware: (Freeware)

I have a friend that have made himself a rather large clock using Samurize.
Since Samurize allows you to make all sorts of gui elements and put them
on your desktop in any style you like , making a clock that fills the
entire screen would be the easiest thing.

My kids have a "pretty good" one on their machine that came with the XP
system. It shows the digital time.

It still functions as a "screen saver" in that the "time" moves about and
flips over.

A fixed clock would not "save" the screen.

If you have a TFT screen is a screensaver even necessary?

Don't really know.

I would let others find that out for themselves and then rely on their
experience. Were I in the situation of the OP, I would just use a true
"screen saver" version of a clock.

It would be very, very cool, of course, to have a Daly clock which would
bend and flow about while always maintaining the correct time. The OP
would have his cake and eat it too!

if you have XP there is an alternative for any part of the screen:

Use start> all programs> accessories>accesibilty > magnifier and set it to 9
times magnification, then place your cursor over the thing you want to
magnify, in your case your clock

Perhaps I'm behind the times, but the Win98 3D-Text scr had an option to
display the time, choose it's font, size, bendy-flowy stuff etc.

Oh, I'm sure that my kids are using a version of that.

What I was "thinking" about would have, for example, a large "pocket watch"
FLOW over the edge of a box and such.
