want to get rid of IE7!

I downloaded IE7 Friday and I am not happy with it. The Resolution is messed
up. I have a flat screen and if I have the screen in normal position it is
too light to read. I have to tilted it up. The letters have red and blue
mixed in the black letters. Anything written in small print, it looks washed
out.

To get rid of it and go back to IE6, do I just go to add/remove and remove
the IE7? Is that all I have to do? Also, my scanner won't work only
manually, can't use the computer, just like it isn't connected to the
computer. It was fine until I downloaded IE7.

I informed HP with the problem with the scanner and they said to remove IE7
as it is not compatible with their products yet. I removed IE7 and things
are back to normal. One remaining question, when I removed IE7, it left the
"? Help" and the "Restore" symbols down on the bar near the clock. How do I
get them off?
