Want Free eMail for backup- Who's good ?

Hello everyone.

I wish to sign up for a second eMail for backup, and
only want to go free for this back up.

Of all the free eMail offers out there, can anyone
recommend one over the other, especially if they
have had experience with a couple?

Heard negative about JUNO and Hotmail. Justified?

I've used bothYahoo and Netscape for years and have been happy with both. I
also have Operamail and Netzero, but find the java engine under Operamail
problematic on various platforms. Netzero has changed their look recently,
but they merged with Juno a while ago and I don't think it was for the better.
