Wanadoo wireless connection

I have just upgraded to Win XP professional from Win98SE. I have changed NO
hardware or ports.

I had my Wanadoo Livebox running fine in 98se with two Inventel wireless
adapters supplied with the Livebox modem, but I am finding it incredibly
difficult to get it up and running in Xp.

Error messages like;

"HI-SPEED adapter plugged into non HI SPEED port"
" Cannot find wireless connection"

I have used the Wanadoo setup disk and connection was recognised and worked
briefly.

Is it likely to be a configuration problem or should I change my USB ports.

Me being used to the Historic W98 I was hoping these headaches would be
avoided in the all singing all dancing XP

Cheers DL,
I have reinstalled the software but didn't pare up the livebox as it is
already set up with WEP key etc to use with my laptop.

What I find strange is that my desktop with XP does connect but the wireless
connection soon breaks down and I am unable to re-connect.

The Inventel Wireless Network Manager dialogue window shows the connection
being made but then being immediately broke.

Is anything shown in winxp Event logs?
Have you thought of creating a new wep key?
You've visited mobo / pc web site and downloaded installed any specific
winxp drivers, particularly chipset drivers.
You mentioned earlier upgrading to winxp, I assume you upgraded the win98
installation, this can sometimes lead to problems as apposed to a clean
installation. During a clean install theres no need to install win98, you
just need the win98 cd available during the process.

Hi DL,
When I say upgraded I meant stepped up from 98, or was it DOWN! full
programme installed onto formatted hardrive.

Have tried running the whole Wanadoo install from scratch but same outcome.
xp recognises connection, shows up in "Network Connections" then dissapears
leaving icon showing connection unavailable.

Then unaible to reconnect even if I diconnect wirelees usb adapter then
re-connect it. Still says connection unavailable!!

site"? HELP!
Don't really want to reset Wep KEY AS this means I may loose connectivity on
