ORANGE WIRELESS & TALK PROBLEM

I have pretty much found solutions for everything after installing RC1 with
the exception of my wireless network. I have a wireless & talk
(Orange/Wanadoo) livebox, and before the installation of RC1 this worked
fine. I have a wireless card in the main PC, which is no longer functioning.
The wireless network is found by Vista, but despite typing in the WEP key
when prompted the card does not function. I've had to make a wired connection
now, which is untidy and i'm left with a cable running accross the lounge
floor. Does anyone have any ideas to solve this? Incidently, I rang the
Orange Livebox helpline yesterday and was pretty surprised to be asked 'What
is Vista???!!' by the orange technical support rep.

Sadly, this is normal. I called a major computer manufacturer a few months
a go for tech support and by the end of the conversation I was helping him
with a problem he was having with his personal notebook.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with my Orange LiveBox. I called the tech
support too and had to explain what Vista was...

After a while, the tech man came back on line and talled me that no drivers
had been developped yet but shoud be available end of February.

But, meanwhile, what can we do ?...

For information, I had an old modem Sagem Fast 800 that worked perfectly
well with Vista. It's unfortunately out of service.

If someone found a solution, I would me more than please to hear about it !...

Regards,
Stephane

Maybe a stupid question, but what has the Livebox to do with Vista?

I have a livebox and use Vista and have no problem.
Vista has nothing to do with the livebox, the livebox supplies a internet
connection Wired or wireless makes no difference.

Unless you have to dial in from the PC.
But normally the connection is on and Vista doesn't need any drivers.
You only need drivers for the wireless card in the PC.
