W2K Novell GWIA

We have 2 W2K Servers running Novell GroupWise 5.5 GWIA.
after about 1000 messages they crash...no inbound or out
bound.
is this a W2K issue or Novell?

What is your patch level for W2Ksvr?
What is the exact version of groupwise (gw55plain or gw55ep)?
What is the patch level of said version of groupwise?
What does the eventvwr have to say, what does the gwia log say, etc?

We have the following:
GroupWise 5.5 = on a Novell 5.1 server ( I believe it is
the plain
version, but not 100% certain) Program Release 5.5.5
GroupWise Web= on a separate NetWare 5.1 server
and two SMTP machines (one incoming/one outgoing email)=
on Windows NT
4.0 (where can we check for logs)

so 2 gwia, one dedicated for inbound, one dedicated for outbound? how much
traffic do you have that you need that setup?

as far as checking for errors, start/run/eventvwr on nt would be a start,
then www.novell.com/documentation to look at the documentation there for
your version of groupwise (id give you a direct link but you seem rather
unsure as to what version you have) to find where to look up error logs for
gwia & the rest of the system. Can you give me the version #s for the
gwia/gwpoa/gwmta files?
