W2K Install

After installing W2K, the machine boots up and asks for a
username and password, which I enter. I then get a stop
sign screen that indicates there is no page file.
However, I have no way of fixing this as I cannot get
into the machine. (It does this in safe mode as well). I
have never seen this happen before and cannot find
anything about it in support. Please help !!
