W2000 Installation

I was previously having problems installing W2K (using
retail full install CD) on second hard drive (E). Kept
getting msg: "The Operating System CD that you are
attempting to install was not distributed with this
computer." So ... I disconnected my old "C" drive, made
the empty harddrive my boot drive (now "C") sharing cable
w/CDR drive and installed W2K using setup boot disks. It
installed fine. I've reconnected my old drive, which is
isolated on secondary IDE as "E" drive. My questions are:
1. How do I go back and forth between operating systems?;
2. shouldn't I be able to decide, upon boot, which OS I
want to use and, if so, how can this be done?; and 3. do
I place shortcuts to my 98SE apps ("E" drive) on my 2000
desktop ("C" drive) for easy access? Thanks in advance.

I believe you would need to edit the boot.ini file, on C.
Once this is done I believe the dual boot screen will be enabled.
You will only be able to acceess yr win98 apps whilst booted from win98
E is set as a slave, C master?
