VSS Errors in Application Event Viewer

My application event log is constantly showing "VSS errors," and I can't,
for the life of me, find the problem/solution. Specifically, the errors are
as follows, and the event 8193 is far and away the most frequent.

To resolve this problem, repair the Windows XP installation from your CD-ROM
