VPN two Windows Domains

I have an existing domain: 1 SBS 2000 Server and 1 Windows Server 2003 Server.

I have a new site which is going to have a Windows 2003 server w/ Exchange
2003. Both sides will have a VPN router.

My question is: How should I configure the new site in a VPN with the main
site? Should the new site be a SUB-domain? Also, is this a problem since I
have SBS at the main site? Are there any VPN configuration related issues
that I should be aware of? (The router will be managing the VPN itself. It
is configured in its configuration web-page)

Thanks

1. No, the new site doesn't need to be a sub-domain.
2. No, SBS is not issue here. You can have SBS in one side and another site can be workgroup, SBS domain or windows domain.
3. If you setup a router to router VPN, you may have a name resolution issue.

Thanks for the reply.

I want the VPN routers to manage the connection between the offices. It's
actually already configured for this.

I want the two sites to be managed under a single Forest. For ex, I want to
run AD Users and Computers, and see both of the offices. That's why I wanted
to know if SBS will have a problem. My understanding is that SBS doesn't
allow domain trusts, or subdomains. Basically, Do I have to get rid of SBS
at my main site for this to work?

Thanks
