VPN problem.

We have a user who connects into our system via VPN.

At the end of the month when She tried to VPN her VPN icon disapears!

If she backs her clock up by two days the icon reapears!

So the big quesiton is: What causes the VPN icon to disapear at the end of
the month?

P.S. WinXP Pro. All updates installed. Windows SBS 2003. All updates
installed.

Any ideals?

My ideals(!) are probably not relevant here. If this was my
machine then I'd have a look at the folder where this disappearing
icon resides. Which folder is it in? Does the shortcut file disappear
from the folder when she can no longer see the icon itself, or is it
still there? Does "backing up the clock by two days" mean just this,
or does it mean "Restore the System by two days"?

Hi Scott,

Do you mean when she launches the VPN it disappears in the System Tray?
Is it still connected even though the icon doesn't show?

Hi Terry,
1) Turning the clock back means: Go to data and time properties and change
the date.

3) The icon is on the desktop. Everthing is fine untill the last day of the
month. then the Icon disapears. From what I understand this happens every
month.

It is NOT a leap year thing.
