VPN connection ok, use KO

I've a very strange problem : i open a VPN connection and
got the message saying that the connection is ok but after
that i do not receive any packets, i see that the laptop
is sending data but never receiving anything.
any ideas ?
 
Is firewall enabled on the client? What is the data you are transmitting?
