VPN and Remote Access manager

My VPN setup wont get past a shaded selection in the
internet wizard ,. and remote access wont start up , I
get error 5 access denied,,,
Any ideas please

If your machine is XPSP1, reinstalling SP1 used to be a good fix for this.
At this point, it might be better to install SP2, but I'd do one or the
other.

Make sure that the Remote Access Connection Manager is not disabled
(try starting it manually)...
