Remote access freezes selected computer

I have two networks connect via a vpn and can access any computer via remote
access but one. When I try one certain computer that is running XP SP3 either
locally or across the vpn the computer locks and must be reset. I have gone
through all the services to set them the same as other computer and double
checked that remote is turn on but the system still locks up when I try to
access it from any other system in the local or vpn network. Any ideas to
solve this without a rebuild would be a great help.

Thanks,

since it's running a Nvidia FX3700 and the divers are a couple of months
apart from one machine to the next. The latest is on the machine that works.
I found that latest driver seemed to fail with Solidworks and large files. So
