VPN and Internet connection

I have a couple of users here that need to VPN into a database and work with
information on an Internet website at the same time.
It appears that when they VPN into the server they are issued an IP address,
subnetmask, default gateway, DNS and WINS server IPaddresses. As long as
they are connected to the VPN they can not access the secure website they
need to access. They get page not found. They can access other websites
while connected to the VPN. Once disconnected from the VPN they can access
the secure website.

How to get them access to the secure website and the Cisco VPN at the same
time?

Thanks

You can uncheck "Use default gateway of the remote network" on the
properties of your connectoid.
Righ click the conenctoid- >propertiees -> NEtworking
TCP/IP -> Properties -> Advanced

Since it is currently using the default gateway of the remote machine, it is
not able to access the others.

This would be done on the server they VPN to on the "other" network?

They are using a Win 2k pro workstation and creating the VPN from the
workstation through my firewall to their VPN server.

Thanks for the info.

No, you need to uncheck the flag on the client wokstation. This is not on
the RRAS Server.

Ok,

I create the VPN connection and go to network and dialup connections and
right click on the connection that is reiterated for the Cisco VPN client
and select properties - TCP/IP - properties Advanced button. There is no
"Use default gateway of the remote network" *anywhere* in the advanced
TCP/IP settings of the Win 2k pro client. I manually changed the default
gateway to point to the default gateway on my network - no change. Changing
the DNS servers to the DNS servers on my network did nothing to help them be
able to browse the internet at the same time as using the VPN connection.

That should be "created" not reiterated.
