Voyager-1 has become the first man-made craft to leave our solar system: NASA

Voyager-1 took the famous photo of Earth as the 'pale blue dot' back in 1990. Really makes you feel very small and humble doesn't it?

12 billion miles I think I heard on news today

Glad I'm not paying the petrol bill ;)
 
Wow ! 36 years and some of the instruments are still in working order.

They ought to be building cars. :D
