volume problem

Hi,

Earlier I was getting the error curropted and unreadable volune, then i used
chkdsk /F and everything was fine, but since few days when i try to open my
disk using my computer i get this error:

E:\ is not accessible.

The wrong diskette is in the drive.
Insert (Volume Serial Number: ) into drive E:\.


I tried Right Click > Tools > Check, it did'nt show anything.

then I tried chkdsk e: and chkdsk /F e: and it shown
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Reboot with the drive empty then insert disk, then it should read it.

I am sorry but it did not work

I have even tried to put the drive into another computer, but no luck.

have any other solution?

I've got exactly same problem. Even run chkdsk yesterday too.
Did you manage to solve it somehow?

It's looking for the same CD to continue the game/install, whatever..
