volume+mute control

Hello to everyone,
I redone my computer with xp windows and worked great,
but since I copied my old settings from previous to new
settings the volume control goes down automatic,and
cannot and won't let me mute,since volume is down.
Anybody got any ideas,Ithink it's a driver problem.
Help,
not to smart in computers.

Hi, Gilly. Update your sound card drivers from the card mftr.'s website.
