Volume control

VCa someone pleas tell me how to access thew volume
controls for windows xp please.

It used to be that you just clicked on the icon on the
taskbar to do this but now it doesn;t even show one so i
have no idea how yo access it.

It is rather annoying because I'm sure that if I could
adjust it, that it would indeed be louder than it it
currently is.

Also does anyone know why when I try to use Wave studio to
edit a smaple, that when I go to save that sample it then
tells me I don;t have ebough space on my Harddrive even
thoug I have over 4 gigs free? At the most the sample is 6
MB and I am oprobably only saving about a tenth of that.

To access vol control, Start - Control Panel - Sounds, Speech, Audio Devices - Adjust System Volume.
