I have a Logitech USB headset (headphone cum microphone). There is a
volume control within the wire of the head set. My OS is windows XP
professional .
1. the in built volume control of USB head set does not work
2. In the volume control of the WINDOWS the indicator in the "balance"
is always" at the highest. If I slide this indicator down it again
goes up to the maximum. Then I clicked "options" in the volume window
and uncheck "speaker" and clicked ok;. Then I am able to adjust
somewhat the indicator in the speaker.
Is the problem of 1 above is due to hardware of headset
Is there any solution to the problem of the volume control of the
WINDOWS, mentioned in 2 above?
