System volume "not working" when using bluetooth headset

When I use the bluetooth headset, I find that my system volume has no
effect on the output volume. The output volume seems to be totally
under the control of the application, eg Windows Media Player, Winamp.

Is there any way I can configure the PC so that I can still use my
system volume with bluetooth headset ?

Which out-put jack are you using,if one double clicks the speaker by the
clock,open volume control,open properties,if you use the headphone jack
or auxillery out put,then chk the box to be added to sound control menu.

Hi Andrew
Under properties, I select Mixer device = Bluetooth Audio. In the
box, Adjust volume for... the playback is not highlighed and I cannot
select it.
Any idea why ? Thanks for your help.
