Bluetooth Headset profile support! when???

I am getting pretty pissed off with mircosoft, there seems to be no way for
me to email them requesting them to add the headset profile into the
bluetooth stack included in windows XP. I have a sony Vaio laptop, with
bluetooth built in, but it is using microsoft software. I have heard that
the only work around is to buy another bluetooth dongle (that uses the
Widcomm stack) and use that with my headset!!

But that is the worst idea ever, thanks Microsoft, XP can see my headset,
but it doesn't know what to do with it!! Is there anyway to get contact
Microsoft and petition them to include this profile??? seems like an obvious
thing to have, what with skype and IP phones being so popular! and the
proliferation of bluetooth headsets coming free with mobile phones!

I know what you mean I spent 3 hours last night trying to get my motorola
bluetooth to work with my phone to find out since I had winxp sp2 installed I
had to disable microsofts drivers and re-install the other drivers for it to
work becuase of the way microsoft drivers work. I have also noticed that if I
ever pull out my bluetooth device out of my laptop to put it in my case then
reinsert the device I have to go through the disable crap all over again. So
if you opt to get a bluetooth dongle be ready to disable reinstalled
everytime you remove and reinsert the dongle.

Dear Pissy Pants,
Perhaps install the bluetooth stack that came with your device???? The
manufacturer of your device did not include a stack? Well, the last thing i
would do is contact the manufacturer of the device and the first thing I
would do is blame it on the OS. What a world.
