Voice/Webcam Problems

Greetings all.

I have had Windows Messenger since January & have never gotten the voice or webcam to work properly.
1. I can hear others when they speak, but they cannot hear me.
2. I am able to send files with no problem.
3. I have run the audio wizard & everything checks out. When I speak I can see the green lights go up and down.
4. I have turned off my Windows XP firwall.
5. I do have the trial version of Norton AntiVirus running, but the Internet piece is not turned on, so I don't believe the
firewall is either.
6. I have a Comcast cable modem that I am using.
7. I also use voice on some net games & it appears to be working fine in that mode.

Any assistance you all could provide would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hi Jonathan.

Wanted to let you know that your 2nd suggestion worked. I am getting

quite an echo when I talk, but the person on the other end can hear me.
