Webcam - ECHO

G

Guest

I am using audio/video conferencing with MSN Messenger 7.0 . When I speak to
my friend, I get an echo of my own voice. I don't hear an echo of the person
I am speaking to, only myself. I have tried ticking and unticking the
headphones box on the Audio Tuning Wizard and neither seems to make a
difference.

HELP! Very annoying.

Greetings Wee,

The echo you're hearing is your contact's speakers playing your audio (and then transmitting
it back to you). You might want to ask them to turn down their speakers, to go through the
wizard themselves or to simply get a headset/headphones.

This happens when I am using headphones.
