Vista's built-in defrag program

I've heard that under the covers, this is quite
a good tool. It nakes smart decisions regarding
big files and does a cost-effective defrag, without
thrashing the drive for hours, as some of the other programs do.

Here's my question. I've got XP and Vista dual boot.
XP's defrag is pretty poor (IMO). Is the Vista defrag
clever enough to safely defrag the XP partition,
without undoing all of XP's tuning ?

I have yet to find Vista Defrag on my machine and use Smart Defrag 1.11
(free).
It is quite effective and does no harm to your system(s).
DTweak 3.15.1 Free is another powerful combination program which includes a
defragmenter.
Your choice between both, either one or none of them.

Harry.
