Vista Sharing does not work

I try to turn on sharing of my media on my network and I get the following
error in the event viewer:
Event ID 1000
Faulting application wmpnscfg.exe, version 11.0.6000.6324, time stamp

I can't turn sharing on at all. Any ideas?

Ran the check, everything appears to be fine but sharing still doesn't work.
Any other ideas?
