Vista RC1 Availability

Does anyone know you can download and install VISTA RC1, if
you weren't part of the original 'Customer Beta Test' group?

Yes, but until you get a key you won't be able to activate your
installation and it will stop working after 14 days. MS will open up for
new people to join the CCP sometime, so just you wait and check back at
the Microsoft Vista site (or a blog or wherever) regularly.

You can download it now:
http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc1/en/download.htm

and use it for 14 days, but you will need a key for continued use. No word
on when the CPP will reopen.

MS let me activate and give me a key... and i'm not part of any test group.
go ahead and download, and then activate it by talking to a human.
