Vista RC1 Audio Driver AMD xp2200+ for HP ZE Notebook

My HP notebook ZE-4500 AMD zx2200+ (1.80 ghz) has been running Vista RC1 32
bit (clean install using Microsoft DVD disc) just great....with ONE
exception....like many folks I have NO AUDIO.

Would anyone have a suggested download link for a driver and sound controller?
My Device Manager shows NO Sound Controller and NOTHING under Other Devices.

Or should I Uninstall Vista, Re-Install Clean Win XPSP2 (I have original
HP-Microsoft XP disc, as well as 5 disc quick install discs) and then install
Vista 32 and a dual install?

I am aware this is a Beta, and again other than the audio have been very
impressed with the performance and usability on this 2004 lower priced
laptop! Only wish HP has on top of this as they appear to be asleep at the
wheel!

The only way you will solve your dilemma is to contact HP to
see if they have a Vista compatible audio driver, or find
out what sound chip is on your laptop and see if you can
find a suitable Vista compatible driver for that sound chip.

The are several different audio chips and they each require
their own unique drivers. There is no universal sound driver.
