Vista not let Safari works

Hi!, I installed Safari Web Browser (Beta) but Vista doesn't let Safari to
take control of my links (in Windows mail) each time I try to open one, it
goes to IE 7.0. Safari has been set as my default Broser, URL Files, and
Shortcuts have been set to open with Safari. The same if I try to open my
messages (hotmail) IE 7.0 takes control of them.
Please let me know if with Vista Home Premium I am uanble to use another
browser.
Any Help will be appreciate. Thanks.

I don't know why the defaults won't change over, I suspect its a Safari
issue, considering the magnitude of other issues it currently has.

If you want to use something other than Internet Explorer I recommend
Firefox. It's much better than Safari.

Safari is BETA right now. Don't expect it to work. Come to think of it,
Vista is Beta also!!!

You might have missed the news, but Vista left beta and hit RC back in
September of last year.

Or so MS would like you to believe while you're doing their beta testing
and not only are they not paying you, they are charging you for the
privilege.

Safari works in home premium because I have IE 7 and safari in vista home
premium.
try reinstalling, or apple software update witch is also installed during
safari installion.
