I am currently running one mail address from Windows mail but I need to be
able to run another from this.
I have filled in all required info and I can receive mails successfully in
the new account however when I try to send a mail I get this error posted
below.

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account:
'POP3.infoeze.ie', Server: 'SMPT.infoeze.ie', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

without looking up your server info... it looks like a typo...

'SMPT.infoeze.ie' should probably be 'SMTP.infoeze.ie'

Thanks Dave

this did not solve the problem however with further investigation I
hopefully have solved this

Interesting side note:
I was going to say for that scenario the error should have been
"No such host". But there really is a server named smPT.infoeze.ie.
But you're right, the OP needs to change his server name to
smTP.infoeze.ie.

(Note: capitalization added for emphasis. It makes no difference.)

I have solved the problem
when you can receive mails but not send mails it has all to do with the
authentication of the server as the info you use to send an email is not
always the same as the info used to receive emails.

Good to hear that the problem has been resolved.
A hybrid account (where the sending server and receiving server
are owned by different companies) can be tricky to set up.
