Vista keeps crashing

Hi
I just installed windows vista, and thought it was supposed to be a "happy"
day. So far i've spent 13 hours trying to make the stup.. program work.
However it seems that whenever I concqure one problem, another just appear.
Im using the Danish home basic version. Upgraded from Windows Xp. My newest
problem, and the toughest, is that whatever I do it seems to crash windows.
SO I figured that I should upade windows. However the windows update function
appears to be the enemy number one for vista. I just keeps thinking and until
the point where nothing else but my reset button is working. Any thoughts on
how to fix this problem? Its getting rather annoying..

Hi Andreas,

Instead of upgrading an older version of Windows, you would be better of by
doing a clean install. If you refer to the following tutorial 'Clean Install
Windows Vista Using Upgrade Media' in the newsgroup 'Windows Vista
Installation and Setup' (dated 9/21/2007), it will give you full instructions
on how to do this.
