Vista crashing

First, I would like to say that I am impressed with Vista overall. The
problem is that I am a gamer. When I play, my system crashes. Sometimes its
ten minutes in, other times it may give me an hour, and sometimes it may not
even crash at all. However, that is not usualy not the case. I believe this
to be an issue with my computer itself, not the OS. I am running Windows
Vista RC1 build 5600. I have tried reinstalling my original OS but when I put
the disk in, it won't allow me to install. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Get a release version of Vista instead of a beta version.

Are you sure the game you are playing is designed to work with Vista?
What is reported in the event logs? This usually tells you what the problem
is, and from there you can try and figure out how to correct things.
