What's pathetic is that he thinks he's being cute and clever and thinks
after each one of his boorish posts that he "really told 'em".

There might be something good about Vista but copying files definitely
feel much slower than XP. Sometimes the time it takes to think is
enough for XP to cpy the whole thing.

I do like the Sleep mode and the ability to boot back up so fast.
That's function I like most about Vista.

You listed a lot of glitches Vista has visited upon us, but you left out 2
that irk me most.

1. I find the lack of a history drop-down on the Back button on folders and
IE ... and can't find anywhere to change it ... to be exasperating; because I
like to jump back in history. Sure, I can hunt through "History" but the
Back button drop down was handier by far.

2. The second omission from your glitch listL Under Vista, my favorite
MS-DOS programs either don't run AT ALL, or don't run in a window big enough
to see them! This is LOW. This might seem important only to someone who
came up from MS-DOS and just can't give it up. XP didn't have this glitch.
But having to keep old computers around is a nuisance too.

If you or anyone has suggestions how to run WordStar 6.0 (or 3.0) or Borland
Turbo Pascal 7 in MS-DOS under Vista, or work-arounds for other great old DOS
programs, I'd love to hear about it.

I knew I wouldn't like Vista, but I really didn't expect these two problems
to loom so large.

Otherwise a great complaint list!

Download Dosbox from dosbox.com. It creates a virtual DOS platform that
runs DOS programs full screen on 32 and 64 bit versions of XP and Vista.
It even emulates the original Soundblaster.
